25 Years of Tokyo DisneySea: The “Sparkling Jubilee” Celebration Begins April 15
Tokyo DisneySea (TDS) in Urayasu City, Japan, officially launched its 25th anniversary celebration titled “Sparkling Jubilee”. The full series of events will begin on April 15, 2026, and last until March 31, 2027.
Carrying the title “Sparkling Jubilee,” this celebration offers a series of special entertainment that is not to be missed. One of the most anticipated is the commemorative show in the harbor area with the same title. In this show, Mickey Mouse and friends will perform in exclusive costumes, greeting visitors from aboard a ship while presenting a celebration dance alongside their land-based friends.
Not only that, the entertainment stage will also be enlivened by the “Dance the Globe!” performance, packaged with new elements, specially designed to enliven the atmosphere of the 25th birthday celebration.
Tokyo DisneySea, which first opened in September 2001, is known as the first Disney theme park in the world with a sea theme. In 2024, this area will surprise fans again by launching the largest expansion in its history, “Fantasy Springs.” Until now, TDS continues to transform into one of the two main Disney parks, alongside Tokyo Disneyland.
During the celebration period, the park's atmosphere will be adorned with the signature color “Jubilee Blue” —the theme color of the 25th anniversary inspired by the beauty of the sea. To complete the experience, visitors can also hunt for special souvenirs, as well as enjoy a limited edition menu available at various restaurants and food stalls in the TDS area.
