Animal Crossing: New Horizons and Nagoya Sea Life Aquarium Collaborate on "Ocean Life Encounter Exhibition" Dates Confirmed for January 30th
LEGOLAND Japan announced on January 20, 2026, that the "Animal Crossing: New Horizons × Nagoya Sea Life Aquarium Ocean Life Encounter Exhibition" will be held at Nagoya Sea Life Aquarium from January 30th to May 11th, 2026. Admission fees are ¥1,800 for adults (19+) and ¥1,400 for children (3–18). A combo 1-Day Pass with LEGOLAND Japan entry is also available.
This is a collaboration with Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons. The event will feature over 30 species of fish and seafood from the game, along with explanatory panels narrated by the familiar character “Futa” and fun facts from aquarium staff.
Additionally, a “Find the Creatures” card game will be sold, where participants must identify a marine animal not on display. Correct answers will receive a limited-edition sticker.
A “Mini Coral Wreath Workshop” will also be held daily, along with the sale of exclusive merchandise.

About Nagoya Sea Life Aquarium The world’s largest aquarium brand, “SEA LIFE,” opened in Scotland in 1979 and now operates in over 50 locations across 18 countries, targeting children aged 5–12 with an immersive “see, touch, and learn” experience. It arrived in Japan in April 2018 as “Sea Life Nagoya,” a LEGO-themed aquarium featuring collaborations with around 150 marine species. Located next to LEGOLAND Japan, the only outdoor LEGO-themed park in Japan, it rebranded to “Nagoya Sea Life Aquarium” on January 20, 2026, with the concept of “supporting children’s growth.”

The event will showcase over 30 species of fish and seafood from Animal Crossing: New Horizons, with explanatory panels narrated by “Futa” and fun facts from aquarium staff. A “Find the Creatures” card game will challenge visitors to identify a marine animal not on display, with winners receiving a limited-edition sticker.
The “Backyard Tour” will feature a “Feeding Fish” experience using paper bags inspired by the game. A “Coral Wreath Workshop” will also be held daily. Visitors can also collect an original postcard by checking in at Nintendo Store. Additional activities include limited-edition photo spots and exclusive merchandise.
