The original manga creator, Miki Yoshikawa, drew a new illustration featuring new characters to commemorate today's announcement.
A Couple of Cuckoos is based on a romantic comedy manga by Miki Yoshikawa, which began serialization in Kodansha Comics' Weekly Shonen Magazine on January 29, 2020. Twenty-three tankobon volumes have been released as of July 2024.
Synopsis:
Nagi Umino, a super brilliant 16-year-old student and a sophomore at Meguro River Academy high school, was switched at birth.
On his way to a dinner to meet his biological parents, he accidentally meets Erika Amano, a rude and straightforward girl, who is determined to make Nagi her fake boyfriend because she never wants to get married. However, when Nagi arrives at the dinner, he finds that his parents have decided to solve a hospital transfer issue by marrying him to the daughter of his biological parents... who happens to be Erika herself!
