Apple is Developing a Smart Doorbell with Face ID!
Reportedly, Apple is working on a smart doorbell that features Face ID. So, this doorbell won't just ring, but it can also serve as a security system that unlocks the door using facial recognition technology, just like on the iPhone!
Mark Gurman from Bloomberg said that the development of Apple's smart doorbell is still in the early stages. It is estimated that the giant from Cupertino will launch it to the market at the earliest by the end of 2025.
Apple's smart doorbell is also likely to support smart door lock systems from third parties that are compatible with the HomeKit ecosystem. It's possible that Apple will integrate this directly with their built-in door locking system.
Smart doorbells with cameras are already plentiful in the market, such as Amazon Ring. However, the presence of Face ID technology will be one of the main advantages of this Apple doorbell, especially with its facial recognition accuracy similar to that of the iPhone.
