Baidu Develops AI That Can Translate Animal Languages
The owner of the largest search engine in China (Baidu) has recently filed a rather interesting patent. How could it not be, Baidu is developing an AI that can convert animal sounds into a language we can understand.
Through its patent document, Baidu explains that this system will collect various data from animals, ranging from sounds, behavioral patterns, to other factors. All this data will be processed and combined before being analyzed by the AI that will identify the emotions of the animal.
After the animal's emotions are identified, the AI will map them into meanings that can be understood. Then, those meanings will be translated into a language we comprehend.
Baidu's bold step to develop this AI shows that technology can make the process of emotional communication and deeper understanding between humans and animals easier.
In addition, this technology is expected to make communication between humans and animals more accurate and efficient.
