Leaked “Plants vs. Zombies Replanted” to be released in the coming months
The latest leak confirms that Electronic Arts (EA) together with PopCap Games is preparing a new version of Plants vs. Zombies.

Based on reports and leaks circulating, this project will bring back the classic tower defense experience first released in 2009, but with improved graphics and optimization for the latest generation consoles.
Suspicions of this remaster’s existence began when project-related files for Plants vs. Zombies were found on EA’s Chinese website. One file that drew attention was the official key art. This discovery further strengthens the assumption that EA is indeed preparing a remaster for this legendary franchise.
Furthermore, leaker billbil-kun published full details about this project. According to the report, the remaster will be titled Plants vs. Zombies Replanted and is scheduled for release on October 23, 2025, for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Meanwhile, the official announcement is predicted to take place soon. With Gamescom set to be held in August, or news about a Nintendo Direct rumored to be scheduled for next week.
