Plot:

Now, the legendary Alucard joins Richter Belmont and his band of vampire hunters to race against time. Erzsebet Báthory, the seemingly unbeatable Vampire Messiah, is seeking the full power of the goddess Sekhmet to plunge the world into endless darkness and terror.

Sam and Adam Deats return as directors for this series, with Project 51 Productions and Powerhouse Animation once again handling the animation production. Clive Bradley and Kevin Kolde serve as showrunners and executive producers. Fred Seibert and Adi Shankar are also credited as executive producers, along with the Deats brothers, Bradley, Kolde, and Seibert.

The first season of Castlevania Nocturne premiered on September 28, 2023, with a total of eight episodes. This series is set 300 years after the previous Castlevania series, which aired for four seasons from 2017 to 2021. The production of this series is handled by Frederator Studios, with Powerhouse Animation as the animation company.

Plot Castlevania: Nocturne*:*

France, 1792 - at the height of the French Revolution. In a remote area of western France, the counter-revolutionary aristocracy has allied with a terrifying Vampire Messiah, who promises to 'devour the sun' and unleash vampire forces and creatures of the night to destroy the revolution and enslave humanity. Annette, a witch from the Caribbean, seeks Richter Belmont, the last descendant of the famous vampire hunter family, to lead the resistance.
