ChatGPT o1 Officially Released, Mathematics and Science Expert!
A few months ago, OpenAI introduced the o1 model, which reportedly excels at solving science and math problems.
The company just released various cool features in a 12-day event that began on December 4th. One thing that piqued people's curiosity is the o1 model, which turns out to have capabilities that go beyond just calculations, guys!
Not only is it good at processing numbers and solving math problems, according to OpenAI, the o1 model also has various other new features that are equally intelligent. However, the main focus of this AI model is still on mathematics.
From the tests they conducted, o1 could solve 83% of International Mathematics Olympiad problems. This figure is significantly better compared to GPT-4o, which could only achieve 13%.
And not only that, this model also shows a significant improvement in responses, making the difference from GPT-4o even clearer. It can be said that this AI is more focused on improving logical reasoning by breaking down problems into smaller parts and solving them one by one.
Other capabilities of this new model also include creating tutorials from images, copying handwriting, estimating sizes, and matching random parts in a machine.
But with features this advanced, it's only natural that it can't be free. OpenAI sets a cost of $200 per month for users who want access since this model is only available in the latest package, ChatGPT Pro.
