Dandadan Season 2 Will Officially Air July 2025!

Exciting news for you Dandadan anime fans! After a huge success with its first season that aired in October 2024, this anime has officially been announced to return with season 2 in July 2025.

This announcement came right after the last episode of the first season aired on December 19, 2024, making fans thrilled and anxious to wait for the continuation of Okarun and Momo's adventures.

Through a press release, the popular Dandadan anime on Crunchyroll is set to return for its second season next year. This second season will continue the story from the end of the first season which ended on a cliffhanger.

At the end of Season 1, Momo, Okarun, and Jiji finally arrive at Jiji's house. Feeling safe, Momo decides to go to the hot springs, while Jiji and Okarun stay behind. While playing football, they begin to discuss Momo and get into an argument about who likes her more.

Meanwhile, Momo is attacked by a crocodile at the hot springs. The first season of Dandadan ends as Okarun and Jiji discover a basement full of charms.

Dandadan is created by Yukinobu Tatsu, who debuted his manga in Shonen Jump+ in April 2021. This manga has seen tremendous success with over 5 million copies sold, and its anime adaptation further boosted its popularity. This anime is known for seamlessly combining supernatural elements, action, and romance. Another unique aspect is how this anime gives balanced portions to its two main characters, Okarun and Momo, allowing both to shine equally.

The first season of Dandadan was produced by Science Saru and consists of 12 episodes. Although there’s no official information about the number of episodes for the second season yet, fans hope this studio will deliver the best quality again.
