Leaked Nintendo Switch 2 Design Makes the Console Must Be Revealed Soon
The Nintendo Switch 2 is indeed the most popular and highly anticipated console for news right now. Nintendo's statement saying they will announce the successor to the first Switch before this fiscal year ends, around March – April 2025, has gotten its fans excited!
However, this announcement doesn’t mean we will immediately see its form; it only indicates that Nintendo is serious about releasing a new console, and there might be a name change from Switch.
With the numerous leaks about Nintendo's latest console circulating on the internet, analysts say this could prompt Nintendo to quickly show off the shape of the Nintendo Switch 2.
According to current analysis, Nintendo may reveal it earlier than planned, which is at the beginning of 2025, to satisfy fans, the gaming market, and also to join in on the high hype for the Nintendo Switch 2.
There’s also news about additional accessories from a Chinese manufacturer for this yet-to-be-announced console, like a screen protector that reportedly appeared on Famiboards, making previous leaks even more credible.
Previously, there was a leak on Reddit about the physical design and the addition of magnets in the Joy-Con so they can attach to the body of the console, plus there’s a button to release the magnets.
At the same time, sources interviewed by The Verge also said that Nintendo has successfully eliminated the 'Joy-Con Drift' issue that often frustrated users of the first Switch in the Nintendo Switch 2.
Will the analysts' predictions about the reveal of this console actually happen in early 2025? We’ll just have to wait for the evidence. One thing's for sure, this latest Nintendo console will support backward compatibility, so you can play old games on the Switch on the Nintendo Switch 2!
