With the release of Resident Evil: Requiem fast approaching on February 27, 2026 (Friday), gameplay details have been unveiled! New collaboration details have also been announced!
Two Protagonists, Two Experiences
- Grace Ashcroft’s Chilling Terror – As an FBI analyst thrust into a nightmare of zombies and creatures, Grace must rely on her wits and limited training to survive in a desperate, resource-scarce environment.
- Leon S. Kennedy’s Thrilling Action – A seasoned agent facing a bio-terror threat, Leon uses his combat skills and firearms to carve through danger with relentless determination. The story takes place after Resident Evil 6, with Leon still part of the anti-bioterrorism organization DSO.
The contrasting gameplay styles—Grace’s tense survival and Leon’s high-octane action—will evoke deeper emotional responses than ever before. The Showcase also includes early footage, new collaborations, and more.
Key Features

- Dynamic Camera System – Freely switch between first-person and third-person perspectives.

- Adaptive Difficulty – “Casual” mode assists aiming for newcomers, while “Standard Classic” requires “Ink Ribbons” for saving (like older Resident Evil games).

- Zombies with Lingering Habits – Some infected retain their past behaviors (e.g., chefs cooking, singers performing), making encounters unpredictable.
Unravel the Mystery of “Elpis”
As players progress, they’ll uncover the cryptic term “Elpis,” which ties Grace’s mother’s death, her own past, and Leon’s hidden secrets together. The truth behind the game’s events awaits your discovery.
