Digital Happiness Announces Dreadout 3
Digital Happiness seems to not want to stop at just Dreadout 2 as they have just announced Dreadout 3 which will be released in 2026.

Through its official trailer, we can see Linda again apparently conducting a ritual that brings her into another dimension. Still similar to before, DreadOut 3 continues to bring gameplay akin to Fatal Frame but wrapped in a strong local atmosphere.
What makes it even more interesting is that the graphics are now much cooler compared to the previous series. In addition, Linda also looks more mature, indicating that the story in this game will take place several years after the events in DreadOut 2.
If we sneak a peek from its official Steam page, DreadOut 3 will be a horror game inspired by Asian Urban Legends — including Indonesia — and will combine two mechanics from the two previous games.
In this game, Linda will be challenged to survive disturbances from supernatural beings, solve various puzzles, travel back and forth between the real world and another dimension, plus rely on her Iris Phone to see supernatural phenomena.
Interestingly, this game will also feature a non-linear dynamic time system. This means Linda can experience horror adventures both during the day and at night, making the atmosphere even less predictable and constantly tense!
DreadOut 3 is scheduled to release in 2026 on PC via Steam.
