Interesting Facts About Xavier Love and Deepspace
Here are the facts about Xavier so far in Love and Deepspace.

Crown Prince of Planet Philos
The first fact is that Xavier in the Myth story is actually the crown prince of Philos, a planet inhabited by humans after Earth can no longer be inhabited. And Xavier comes from the future.
Philos itself has a core that is already dead, and to fill that core, a strong Aether Core is needed. The Aether Core is in the heart of the Protagonist (who can be reincarnated), and it must be sacrificed to ensure the civilization in Philos survives.

Xavier turns out to be in love with the Protagonist (the first one) because they often trained together at the academy as fighting partners. This is evident when he gives the Star Tassel and hangs it on the sword, as a memento from the Protagonist. The thing is, after reincarnating, the Protagonist doesn't remember his past due to the side effects of the sacrifice made for Philos.
Founder of the Backtrackers Group
In the game Love and Deepspace, after the main Protagonist reincarnates again, Xavier chooses to betray his family and abdicate the throne, making the Protagonist the Queen of Philos to protect her. After that, Xavier and his friends form a group called Backtrackers to explore time.
Their goal is to find a way for their people to return to Earth. However, by accident, they end up trapped 214 years in the past from what they intended, causing their spaceship to be severely damaged.
The damage has side effects that cause Xavier's friends to gradually lose their sanity and turn into Wanderers (monsters in the game) who crave the Protagonist's heart to become human again. Because of this, Xavier is forced to intervene and kill them.
Because he is in love with the Protagonist, Xavier is willing to undertake a long journey through time to find a way to extract the Aether Core from the Protagonist's heart without killing her. Jeremiah, Xavier's living friend and a member of the Backtrackers, supports Xavier and is ready to help him even now.
Deepspace Hunter with a Heartfelt Purpose
In Love and Deepspace, Xavier sacrifices his freedom to obtain the strongest Aether Core in Astra to save the Protagonist. Unfortunately, he arrives too late and has to let the Protagonist die and reincarnate again, causing him to fail in eliminating many Wanderers.
Because of this, Xavier decides to wander through time, fighting against Wanderers as a Solo Hunter, while collecting their Protocores. However, most of the Protocores he obtains are destroyed by him as they are deemed not strong enough.
He destroys those Protocores because Xavier is actually searching for the strongest Protocore to save the Protagonist, and he chooses not to tell her this secret, even though he has to sacrifice his freedom.
Sleeping Habit
Xavier in Love and Deepspace has a unique habit that Miss Hunter, who likes him, won't miss. Even though he appears handsome, calm, and rarely shows expressions, Xavier actually enjoys sleeping anywhere and anytime.
In some Memories, the Protagonist can find Xavier still asleep or yet to wake up in unexpected places, sometimes alone, sometimes with the Protagonist. There’s even a funny moment where the Protagonist catches Xavier sleeping while standing, making us unable to help but shake our heads at the unique habit of this Love Interest.
