Nintendo's Mobile Game "Pictonico!" Released, Turn Photos into Exciting Mini-Games
Nintendo's latest smartphone game, "Pictonico!", was officially released on May 28 for Android and iOS. Enjoy a unique experience of playing mini-games using personal photos with various exciting modes and up to 80 games that can be unlocked.
Nintendo officially released a mobile action game titled "Pictonico!" for Android and iOS devices starting May 28. The game can be downloaded for free, although most of its content is unlocked through the purchase of additional game packs.
What makes "Pictonico!" unique is its gameplay concept that utilizes photos stored on smartphones or tablets. Everyday photos you normally save can be transformed into a different and more personal gaming experience, making each session feel fresher and less monotonous.
In the free version, players can already try out 3 mini-games. However, to unlock more complete content, there are paid packs containing up to 80 mini-games. Nintendo offers two game packs, namely "Game Pack Vol. 1" priced at 800 yen and "Game Pack Vol. 2" priced at 600 yen. Each pack offers a different selection of mini-games.
The way to play is also quite flexible. Players can choose photos from the entire gallery on the device, take pictures from specific moments like vacations with friends, or use a pre-arranged special folder. Even when gathering with family or friends, players can also instantly take new photos and play them right away.
In terms of gameplay modes, "Pictonico!" offers several interesting options. There is a Stage mode with gradually increasing difficulty levels, as well as a Score Attack mode for players who want a more serious challenge. In this mode, a single mistake can be very decisive, making the tense and competitive sensation feel even stronger.
