Genshin Impact: Nod-Krai, New Characters, and Major Changes in Version 6.0

Nod-Krai is introduced as a region whose story is directly integrated into the Archon Quest, unlike some previous regions like Natlan or Fontaine which had separate story portions. The developers promise a more cohesive storyline for this region.

Two Major Changes to the Gacha System

The livestream announced two important updates that change the gacha dynamics and the value of 5★ duplicates:

1. Masterless Stellar Fortuna Level Cap raised to 100

   • This new item allows raising the character level cap up to 100.
   • Players will receive Masterless Stellar Fortuna for every 5★ character copy after the character reaches Constellation 6 (C6).
   • Impact: 5★ duplicates (C6) now provide more valuable long-term benefits.

2. Free constellations for old 5★ (pre-Version 4.0)

   • Players can obtain free constellations for 5★ characters released before Version 4.0, with exceptions for some names: Venti, Zhongli, Raiden, Nahida, Yelan, Kazuha, Alhaitham.
   • This reward is obtained through weekly targets and the reward cycle is updated every 12 weeks.
   • Impact: free constellation access helps players build the potential of older characters without relying on wishes.

Gameplay Changes

Several adjustments affecting daily routines and item management:

• Condensed Resin: now crafted with 60 Original Resin (up from 40). This reduces grinding frequency due to more yield per Condensed Resin.
• Domain rewards on 5★ debut: whenever a new 5★ character appears, players can claim rewards from any Weapon or Talent Domain during the first week of debut.
• Artifacts: starting Version 6.0, the fourth attribute of artifacts, which was previously hidden, can be seen from the start, allowing players to make better artifact choices.

Miliastra Wonderland Sandbox UGC

HoYoverse also introduces Miliastra Wonderland, a sandbox UGC mode featuring in-game content creation tools:

• Players can create custom characters, join public lobbies, and design gameplay experiences from various genres.
• The open beta of Miliastra Wonderland is scheduled to start on October 22, 2025, with additional features to be added gradually until Version 6.3.

Version 6.0 (Luna I) is a major update that not only introduces a new region and characters but also changes several pillars of the player experience: from an integrated story structure, a gacha system more friendly to 5★ duplicates, to quality-of-life improvements like artifact attribute visibility and Condensed Resin adjustments.
