Hideo Kojima is likely to venture into filmmaking after completing the OD and Physint projects
After finishing these two titles and evaluating the situation at Kojima Productions, this legendary director finally has the opportunity to try his hand at filmmaking.
Death Stranding 2: On the Beach received a warm welcome from the public, but for the director, Hideo Kojima, the journey is not over yet. He still has two major projects in development: OD, currently published by Xbox Game Studios, and Physint, published by Sony. Although development on these titles was briefly delayed due to the SAG-AFTRA strike, production is scheduled to continue this year.
So, what is Kojima’s next step after all of this is released? It seems he might fulfill his long-held dream of directing a film. In his interview with Brut, Kojima revealed that he will evaluate the internal situation at Kojima Productions after both games launch, and if possible, he will start working on his first film project.
