Instagram Releases Recommendation Reset Feature for Reels, Feed, and Explore!
If you don't like the content algorithm displayed by Instagram, it seems Meta will restart the content recommendations for you with their latest feature. It's called Recommendation Reset, this feature will reset all content shown in Feed, Explore, and Reels.
However, this feature is more aimed at teenagers who are still vulnerable to sensitive and age-inappropriate content. After the content is reset, users can choose the content they want to see by clicking the three dots on the post and pressing the "interested" button.
Although this feature is optional, if you want to make your Instagram more personal, this method can be a good choice. And even though this feature is initially for teenagers, Meta says in the future this feature will be available for everyone.
Negative Impact of Social Media on Young People
It's no secret that spending too much time on social media is not good for young people's development. Especially during their time when they still need social interaction, which is during their teenage years.
