The long-awaited news has finally arrived: Jujutsu Kaisen season 3 is officially scheduled to air in January 2026.

The MAPPA studio staff also announced a special edition film that will serve as a bridge to the new season. This film contains a recap of the Shibuya arc and will screen the first two episodes of season three, scheduled for international release starting November 7, 2025. The film’s release is intended to give fans context and preparation ahead of the third season launch.
Information circulating mentions the title “Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 - Culling Games: Part 1,” indicating that the third season will be split into two parts (split-cour). The first cour is scheduled to air in winter 2026 (starting January 2026). For the second cour, there is no exact date yet, but it is estimated to air in summer or fall 2026.
