Jujutsu Kaisen Announces JUJU FES 2026, Held August 29–30 in Yokohama
Jujutsu Kaisen fans around the world should prepare to welcome a special event. In commemoration of the 5-year journey of its anime, JUJU FES 2026 has officially been announced to take place at the end of August. The peak event titled "Jujutsu Kaisen JUJU FES 2026 5th Anniversary" is confirmed to take place at K Arena Yokohama for two days, on August 29 and 30, 2026.
This exciting news coincides with the release of the third 5th anniversary commemorative visual. The visual features the protagonist, Yuji Itadori, standing alongside a lineup of key characters who play vital roles in Season 3: Culling Game Part 1. Some of the names visible include Megumi Fushiguro, Yuta Okkotsu, Maki Zenin, Choso, Kinji Hakari, and Hiromi Higuruma. This design has been specially created to seamlessly connect with the two previous anniversary visuals, creating a unified epic piece of artwork.
A Brief Overview of Jujutsu Kaisen
For those who are not familiar, Jujutsu Kaisen is a dark fantasy series that tells the story of Yuji Itadori, a high school student who gets entangled in the world of curses after swallowing a finger of a high-grade cursed object. This manga by Gege Akutami has been serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump from March 2018 to September 2024, achieving remarkable records with total circulation exceeding 150 million copies.
Its anime adaptation first aired in October 2020, followed by the feature film Jujutsu Kaisen 0 which became a global phenomenon with earnings reaching 26.5 billion yen. This success continued into Season 2 (July–December 2023) and Season 3 (Culling Game Part 1) which just completed its airing from January to March 2026.
