Rumor Has It FromSoftware is Working on a Dark Souls 3 Remaster
A new report from leaker Kurakasis (via MP1ST) claims that FromSoftware is working on a Dark Souls 3 remaster.

With the codename “Project FMC” this leak has attracted significant attention as it indicates a project in an advanced stage with a possible release no later than 2026.
The Reason Behind the “FMC” Naming convention internal to FromSoftware: Dark Souls Remastered: FHD, Dark Souls 2: FRPG2, Dark Souls 3: FDP, so “FMC” is considered part of the Dark Souls family.
Reported for a multiplatform release, not PC exclusive, strengthening the suspicion that this is a Dark Souls 3 remaster and not another game like Armored Core.
If true, Project FMC could be released in early 2026. From rumors, it is likely to include a bundle + DLC, performance & visual enhancements, and modern optimizations. However, there is no official statement from FromSoftware yet, all information remains leaks and speculation.
If proven true, the Dark Souls 3 remaster could be a major surprise, long-time fans could fight again in Lothric with smoother visuals and more responsive performance. However, some in the community consider Dark Souls 3 still solid enough and believe focus should be on older titles like Dark Souls 2 or Bloodborne. For now, be sure to watch for official updates from FromSoftware.
