JKT48 Downfall: JKT48 Full House Concert Ends Without Encore, Haruka Nakagawa Cries and Shania Gracia's Graduation
The JKT48 Full House concert held on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Istora Senayan left three of the most dramatic moments in the history of this idol group: ending without an encore, Haruka Nakagawa shedding tears during audience protests, and the announcement of Shania Gracia's graduation.

For the first time, JKT48 ended a major concert without an encore, a moment that has always been an emotional peak between the members and fans.
The silence was not due to technical issues but a planned protest action. Two large fanbases, Alliance Regional and ONE Alliance 48, decided since July 18, 2025, not to shout “encore” as a form of disappointment with JKT48 management, especially regarding the unresolved controversy surrounding the actions of inactive General Manager Fritz Fernandez. By not calling for an encore, fans hoped their voices would be heard and policy changes would be considered by management.
Haruka Nakagawa Cries Amid Negative Booing
In the midst of the silent protest atmosphere, the most touching moment occurred when former member Haruka Nakagawa tried to lead an encore shout while waving a white light stick. Instead of supportive enthusiasm, Haruka was booed negatively, a reaction from fans rejecting the call for an encore as a form of protest against Fritz Fernandez’s role. Haruka, not involved in the management controversy, appeared shocked and eventually shed tears on stage.
Shania Gracia’s Graduation
On the same stage, Shania Gracia took advantage of the Full House concert moment to announce her graduation from JKT48 after 11 years of career. As captain, she expressed deep gratitude to the fans who have accompanied her career journey. “This is the reason I have held on this far. When you see the original theater setlist later, I want you to remember that ‘Gracia was here, Gracia fought for this’,” said Shania with teary eyes before the audience gave a warm round of applause as her final appreciation.
