Overwatch × YOASOBI Collaboration Announced, “The Fall of a Sparrow” Story and New Song Revealed
Activision Blizzard Japan has officially announced a collaboration between Overwatch and the popular music unit YOASOBI. This collaboration will begin on July 1, 2026, and will bring a unique blend of the gaming world with the storytelling and musical power characteristic of YOASOBI.
In this collaboration, players can look forward to various in-game content, including new skins for characters such as Kiriko, Genji, and Hanzo. Additionally, various special rewards have been prepared to celebrate this event.
Alongside the announcement, a short story titled “The Fall of a Sparrow” has also been released. This story focuses on Genji's journey during his visit to Tokyo, while also highlighting moments that revive his memories of childhood with Hanzo and Kiriko.
This collaboration becomes even more exciting as YOASOBI is reported to include a new song titled “Orion” in their latest album.
