Manga Kagurabachi will be adapted into an anime

The hit manga from Shueisha, "Kagurabachi," will be adapted into an anime through a collaboration between CyberAgent and Shochiku, as revealed in an interview by Toyo Keizai. The production will be handled by the anime studio Cygames Pictures, which is part of CyberAgent. Unfortunately, information about when it will air and its distribution is still unavailable.

"Kagurabachi" is an action fighting manga that has been serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" since September 2023. To date, it has sold 1.3 million copies, and the fifth volume is set to be released on December 4. This manga also managed to top the comic category in the "Next Manga Awards 2024" announced last August.

Interestingly, its popularity has been rising abroad. Since its debut, this manga has become a topic of conversation out there, and it is said that its popularity is the highest among the latest works from Shueisha.
