Marvel Rivals just launched a patch to fix annoying clipping bugs

The incredible success of Marvel Rivals makes annoying bugs in the game very easy to discover, because there are so many players. This forced NetEase to take immediate action.

Marvel Rivals just launched a patch to fix annoying clipping bugs

This was proven by the release of the first patch just a few days after the game was launched, as the bugs found were quite disruptive to gameplay, such as causing players to get stuck under the map.

In the patch notes for version 20241210, fixes were made to address collision issues in certain corners of the map, particularly in Hydra Charteris Base: Hell’s Heaven and Klyntar: Symbiotic Surface.

This issue usually arises when players die in the corners of the map, and there are even certain characters that also get trapped when using their ultimate in those positions, such as Adam Warlock, Jeff The Land Shark, and Winter Soldier.

According to the Marvel Rivals development team, these fixes are still not final, as there are still other places experiencing similar issues, and testers are continuing to search for bugs in other locations with action combinations that could trigger clipping.

In addition to fixing clipping bugs, this first patch also addresses several issues that caused crashes; and so far, there has not been any balancing or nerf for heroes considered too strong, such as some players' opinions on Black Widow's sniping ability.
