Netflix Releases Trailer for the Final Episode of Stranger Things
Netflix officially released the trailer for the final episode of Stranger Things. This brief clip features emotional moments, the threat of Vecna, and the heroes of Hawkins preparing for their final battle ahead of the finale.
Netflix officially released the trailer for the closing episode of Stranger Things, giving viewers a small glimpse before the scheduled premiere. The trailer, lasting about 1 minute and 30 seconds, shows only about 30 seconds of new footage—the rest is a series of emotional moments from previous seasons—a sign that Netflix is deliberately keeping surprises until it airs tomorrow.
Among the new shots is Vecna hanging from the ceiling inside his power cave in the Upside Down, as well as an explosion at a military location. There are also quick flashes of the Hawkins heroes in various situations that are not yet fully clear, giving a sense of tension as well as nostalgia.
One of the most tense scenes shows Jim Hopper walking in a smoke-filled room with very limited visibility, gun drawn—and a figure presumed to be Vecna appears behind him. Meanwhile, Eleven is seen again entering the sensory deprivation tank in the Upside Down, likely preparing for a major confrontation that will determine everyone’s fate.
A longer scene shows most of the group standing atop a radio tower, while Vecna’s “world” moves closer until it nearly touches the top of the tower. In that moment, Dustin is heard saying “mother of God,” indicating that the high-risk plan they devised in Episode Seven is beginning to show results—or unexpected consequences.
After nine years of journey and five seasons, fans finally reach the climax of the Hawkins heroes’ story. The final episode is scheduled to air at 8 PM ET (5 PM PT).
