Netflix Releases Stranger Things 5 Trailer, The Final Adventure Begins
Netflix officially released the first teaser for the fifth and final season of Stranger Things on July 16, 2025, marking the beginning of the 'final adventure' for our beloved Hawkins heroes.

This short teaser opens with the narration voice of Mike Wheeler announcing that the “burn” will soon begin, hinting at plans to destroy the Upside Down once and for all.
In the following snippets, viewers are shown emotional scenes: Lucas Sinclair crying beside Max Mayfield’s hospital bed while she remains in a coma, confirming that the consequences of the fourth season's battle are not yet over. An iconic scene follows when Hopper pleads to Eleven, “Fight one last time,” before closing the teaser with a firm message, “Let’s end this, kid.” The tense and sorrowful atmosphere of the teaser confirms that the final season will present darker and more heartfelt conflicts than before.
Along with the trailer, Netflix Tudum also published the first official poster for Stranger Things 5. The poster features the figure of Vecna watching over the main cast riding bikes under a stormy red sky, giving a sense of the great threat the Hawkins gang will face. According to the official synopsis, this season is set in the fall of 1987, where the town of Hawkins is under military quarantine and Eleven’s team unites to find and destroy Vecna who has vanished without a trace.
Stranger Things 5 will be released in three volumes: Volume 1 (four episodes) on November 26, 2025, Volume 2 (three episodes) on December 25, 2025, and the final episode on December 31, 2025. With “eight blockbuster films” as promised by its creators, fans can anticipate an epic, emotional, and surprising conclusion that closes the nine-year journey of Stranger Things.
