OSHI NO KO Light Novel Featuring Kana and Akane Set to Launch in December

A new OSHI NO KO light novel will delve deeper into the characters Kana Arima and Akane Kurosawa.

Titled OSHI NO KO Futari no Etude, it is set to be released on December 18 JST, coinciding with the release date of the manga's 16th and final volume. The novel is written by Hajime Tanaka, who also penned last year's Ai Hoshino-centered OSHI NO KO Ichibanboshi no Spica.

Similar to Ichibanboshi no Spica, the original OSHI NO KO author, Aka Akasaka, is overseeing this new story.

Further details about the light novel will be announced later, and the cover design has yet to be revealed.

The original OSHI NO KO manga, illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari, began serialization in Weekly Young Jump in 2020 and is set to conclude on November 14 JST. It has inspired a TV anime produced by Doga Kobo (with a third season in the works), as well as a live-action drama and film, along with a novel adaptation.
