The development of Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link has been halted by Square Enix.
After a lengthy development process, Square Enix has finally decided to halt the development of the mobile game Kingdom Hearts: Missing-Link.
News about the halt in development appeared on the official game website, revealing that the project, which had been in progress for 6 years, is officially discontinued. Previously, this mobile game was planned to serve as a bridge between the third and fourth games, which are still in development.
Originally, Missing-Link was set to feature gameplay similar to Pokémon Go, where players could use GPS to explore the game world. However, according to the development team, they felt that the game would be difficult to support with satisfactory services in the long term.
Although Missing-Link has been discontinued early, the development team assures that Kingdom Hearts IV will continue. So, gamers who have been waiting for this game for years need not worry!
