Pokémon Pokopia will be released on March 5, 2026, on Switch 2
Pokémon Pokopia will be released for Switch 2 on March 5, 2026, at a price of $69.99. Digital pre-orders are now open, and a 10-minute gameplay trailer will air on November 13, 2025, on YouTube.
The Pokémon Company, along with developers Game Freak and Koei Tecmo, announced that Pokémon Pokopia will launch for Switch 2 on March 5, 2026. The game is priced at $69.99 and digital pre-orders are open at Nintendo eShop.


According to the official announcement, physical editions will begin to be available for order on November 13, 2025 in Japan. The physical version will be shipped in the form of a game key card designed to be usable worldwide — details and visuals of this card can be seen in the latest video released by Nintendo (available in English and Japanese).
The Pokémon Company also scheduled a new trailer release featuring about 10 minutes of gameplay footage on November 13, 2025. The trailer will air at 06:00 PT / 09:00 ET / 23:00 JST and can be watched through the official YouTube channel (in English and Japanese).
