27-Year-Old Japanese Man Arrested for Attacking His Father by Throwing a TV Remote
Police in Sapporo have arrested a 27-year-old man on suspicion of attacking his 62-year-old father by throwing a TV remote at his head, causing a laceration.
According to the police, the incident occurred around 7:30 PM on Thursday at their home in the Higashi District, as reported by Hokkaido Broadcasting Corp.
About 10 minutes later, the man called 110 and said that he had hit his father with the remote control and that his father was bleeding from the head.
The police said that the man, who works part-time, told them that he was in another room and his father was watching TV in the living room at a volume that was too loud. When he asked his father to lower the volume, they fought and he threw the remote control at his father's head, causing injury.
