PUBG: Battlegrounds Ends PS4 & Xbox One Support Starting November 2025

The development team of PUBG: Battlegrounds has officially announced that support for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One will be discontinued on 13 November 2025. After that date, the game will only be playable on next-generation consoles, namely PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

This step is taken to deliver a more optimal gaming experience, including more stable frame rates, reduced crashes, and overall visual and performance improvements.

End of Support for Older Generation Consoles

The transition process will take place alongside live server maintenance on 13 November 2025. After that maintenance:

• PUBG: Battlegrounds will no longer be available for download or play on PS4 and Xbox One.
• Players can continue their game on PS5 or Xbox Series X|S using their existing accounts and items without needing a manual transfer process.

Instructions for Players

• PlayStation users need to download the PS5 version from the PlayStation Store after the transition date.
• Xbox users who already have the game installed will automatically receive the next-generation version via the Smart Delivery feature.

Refund Policy

Refunds for BATTLEGROUNDS Plus as well as the base game will follow each platform’s policy. Players are advised to contact PlayStation or Xbox customer support for more information.
