"Disneyland Game Rush" Island Arrives in Fortnite to Celebrate 70 Years of Disneyland
Disney celebrates Disneyland's 70th anniversary by introducing a new creative island titled "Disneyland Game Rush" in Fortnite. Players can enjoy mini-games themed around iconic attractions, compete with friends, and unlock exclusive rewards starting November 6.
Disney and Epic Games bring a bit of Disneyland magic into Fortnite. Starting November 6, players can explore the limited Creative island titled “Disneyland Game Rush” — a special anniversary edition experience created to celebrate 70 years of Disneyland.
Upon landing on this island, players are greeted by a celebration center designed with a festive atmosphere: there is a replica of the 70th anniversary statue inspired by Sleeping Beauty Castle, light cheerful background music, and a sky panorama mimicking famous icons of Disneyland Resort. From this central point, players can immediately choose and play seven quick mini-games each inspired by popular attractions at Disneyland and Disney California Adventure.
The gameplay format still uses familiar Fortnite mechanics but is repackaged with a Disneyland aesthetic touch—art direction, atmosphere, and game elements that bring the amusement park vibe. These mini-games are designed to be easily accessible for playing with friends, allowing for casual or exciting competition between groups.
More than just playing, this island also offers exclusive rewards: players who complete the mini-games will collect keys used to unlock cosmetics themed around the 70th anniversary. So besides having fun, island visitors have the chance to obtain unique appearance items only available during this event.
