Resident Evil 9 rumored to be announced at Summer Game Fest 2025

The source wasn’t explained, but he said “there are many rumors from insiders behind the scenes” about this. He said insider info usually serves as a clue for when RE 9 will be announced. Besides that, the official Capcom account also seems more active than usual, so it might be that they are preparing a new game announcement.

Once again, this doesn’t mean I can give 100% confirmation, no one directly told me or anything like that. But at this point I am about 95% sure we are on the brink of an RE9 announcement at SGF. This is the first time behind the scenes there are many rumors, many whispers.
