Resident Evil Requiem: Leon Returns to Raccoon City
Resident Evil Requiem presents the return of Leon S. Kennedy to Raccoon City after 28 years. Offering a blend of action and survival horror.
Resident Evil Requiem will showcase the return of Leon S. Kennedy to Raccoon City to help Grace and fight Gideon. Although he is much older, it seems Leon’s abilities haven’t changed much since the time of Resident Evil 4. In the trailer, we see Leon performing cool attacks, including his signature kick and impressive shooting. In one scene, Leon is even attacked by an enemy wielding a chainsaw, but he ultimately manages to turn the situation around and use the chainsaw himself. It’s no wonder this trailer strongly feels like Resident Evil 4.
Leon’s part in Resident Evil Requiem will focus more on action, while Grace’s segment will embrace traditional survival horror style. The combination of these two styles can deliver an interesting and unique Resident Evil experience. Fortunately, we don’t have to wait too long to see how everything will unfold.

The release date for Resident Evil Requiem is scheduled for February 27, 2026. On that day, Requiem will be available for Switch 2, PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X.
