Brief Summary: Silk Heart automatically fills a small portion of the Silk meter — useful for healing Hornet or triggering offensive abilities. You will get all three Silk Hearts through natural progression by facing certain bosses, but one of them is very easy to miss. Why Silk Heart is important
Besides filling Silk by attacking enemies, Silk Heart provides a small passive regen that helps sustain HP and enables the use of Silk-based skills. Collect all three to complete the collection and unlock the related trophy.
1) Silk Heart #1 — Bell Beast (The Marrow, Chapter 1)
The first location is usually obtained very early: in the The Marrow area you will encounter Bell Beast, a boss trapped in a web. After acquiring the Silkspear ability, you can free the creature and proceed to the boss fight.
- How: use the Silkspear to cut the trap → fight Bell Beast → after winning take the Silk Heart floating near its body.
- Bonus: defeating Bell Beast usually unlocks the fast travel route Bellway.
2) Silk Heart #2 - Unravelled (Whiteward, Citadel — Chapter 2)
The second Silk Heart is often missed due to its hidden location in the Citadel. You must enter the Whiteward area which is part of the Citadel and requires a series of keys/mechanisms.
- General steps:
- Explore the Coral Chambers to find the white key which opens the lift marked with a surgical symbol.
- After taking the lift, find the Surgical Key to unlock deeper mechanisms.
- Enter the basement/crypt — beware of enemy ambushes — here you will face the boss The Unravelled.
- After defeating the boss: take the Silk Heart floating in the battle area.
Tip: check every room and don’t rush past small corridors — keys and access to Whiteward are often hidden in side paths.
3) Silk Heart #3 — Lace (Cradle — End of Chapter 2)
The last Silk Heart appears at the climax of Chapter Two. To reach the Lace arena, you must learn three important melodies so the lift to the Cradle opens.
- Required melodies:
- Melody of Conductor
- Melody of Architect
- Melody of Vaultkeeper
How: After learning all three melodies, the lift will activate — proceed to Cradle → face Lace. After defeating her, take the third available Silk Heart.
Trophy Regenerated
After collecting all three Silk Hearts, the Regenerated trophy will unlock (make sure the game has registered picking up all three items). If you have passed by and missed one, return to explore the mentioned areas — especially Citadel/Whiteward for the frequently missed Silk Heart.
