The Devil May Cry anime series finally releases its first main visual debut featuring Dante
The Devil May Cry anime series that will air on Netflix has just released its first main visual debut, featuring Dante and his iconic sword.

The visual also confirms that it will premiere on Netflix on April 3, 2025, with a total of eight episodes. Additionally, Netflix also released the opening sequence for Devil May Cry last month, featuring the song "Rollin'" by Limp Bizkit. Studio Mir will be the animation production company for this series.

Johnny Yong Bosch will voice Dante, the main character in this animated series. Previously, he also voiced Nero in Devil May Cry 4 and Devil May Cry 5.
Devil May Cry is inspired by CAPCOM's popular hack-and-slash game series of the same name. Adi Shankar, who is the director, executive producer, and animation creator, told IGN in 2018 that this animation "will join Castlevania in what we now call the bootleg multiverse."
The synopsis for this eight-episode series describes:
In this animated adaptation of the famous Capcom game, dark forces attempt to open a portal between the human world and that of demons. In the midst of this chaos is Dante, a hired orphan demon hunter, who is unaware that the fate of both worlds depends on him.
