Stardew Valley Nintendo Switch 2 Edition Officially Released
Ahead of the new year, Stardew Valley – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition has officially launched and is now available for digital purchase on the Nintendo eShop.
This version basically still brings the Stardew Valley experience we know, but comes with several improvements that make playing on the new generation Switch more comfortable and social.
Story and gameplay overview
Like the original version, you start the story as the heir of an old farm owned by your grandfather. Armed with inherited tools and some coins, your task is to turn the abandoned field into a productive farm. Behind the peaceful rural life, the town faces changes — Joja Corporation once displaced many local traditions, and the community center is now neglected. With hard work and dedication, you can restore the prosperity of Stardew Valley.
More exciting multiplayer
The multiplayer feature is further enhanced: invite 1–3 friends to join — work together to manage the farm, share resources, and build relationships between players and town residents. There is also an option to adjust the profit margin from the harvest, so the team can choose the desired level of challenge.
Availability and upgrade
Stardew Valley – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition is now available on the Nintendo eShop. Players who already own the Nintendo Switch version (first generation) will receive a free upgrade to the Switch 2 edition.
