The “Man in the Cloak” Theory in Resident Evil 9 – Is That Albert Wesker?
In the Resident Evil: Requiem trailer, there is a mysterious cloaked figure that immediately sparked speculation among fans. Many believe this is Albert Wesker — or at least a figure very closely related to him.
Fans suspect that this might be a Wesker clone, not the original Wesker who has died. The genetic data source belonging to Wesker is believed to still be possessed by Umbrella or Tricell, supporting the "backup Wesker" theory. A cloned or hybrid Wesker carries the genetic support legacy and physical characteristics of Albert Wesker.
There is a possibility that what is seen is one of the "brothers" or "sisters" from the Project W experiment (Wesker family). It could be a sibling from Project W, for example, a biological sibling of Alex Wesker or another experiment sharing the same goal.
