The Bagman: Retro Horror Game Developed on Sega Mega Drive Releases Demo on Steam
Independent studio Bad Tasty has officially launched a demo version of their latest project, "The Bagman," via the Steam platform. This survival horror game has garnered attention for its pure 16-bit aesthetics, even being developed directly using original Sega Mega Drive hardware to maintain visual and audio authenticity.
Inspired by the legendary title "Clock Tower" (1995), "The Bagman" tells the story of Eloise, a part-time babysitter trapped in a night of terror. Players not only control Eloise but must also guide two companions to survive.

Uniquely, the lives of these companions are in the player's hands; they can be saved or sacrificed for the main character's survival, which will later affect the game's multiple endings.

Mechanically, the game uses a classic point-and-click format with the addition of a real-time progression system. This means events will continue to unfold even if the player remains idle. In addition to the PC version, the developers also plan to release the game in cartridge form compatible with the original Mega Drive console. This 30-minute demo is now available on Steam.
