Uninstall Simulator: Puzzle Strategy Game Fighting Malware and System Crashes Demo Now Available on Steam
Thirdpark Games has launched the demo version of the PC game "Uninstall Simulator" on Steam today (January 21, 2026).
This game is a puzzle-strategy title where players remotely connect to customers’ PCs to provide assistance.
Players receive requests via email and must battle malware, deceptive installers, browser hijackers, and the system crashes they cause. The requests range from minor issues like “desktop icons disappearing” to urgent ransomware crises.

In-game windows feature “×” buttons like real windows—but they may not always be what they seem. Some windows close when clicked, while others trigger full-screen ads… Worse yet, some even “function normally,” lulling players into a false sense of security.
Some pop-ups detect mouse movement speed—if you move too quickly, the window may escape. Other buttons are affected by gravity and fall off-screen…
Players must use various methods to resolve the customers’ problems.
