The VTuber Awards will be held again in December 2024.
VTuber affiliated with Mythic Talent, Filian, is collaborating with WePlay Studios to host the VTuber Awards once again.
This awards event will increase its total categories to 22 and will be held at a new location. The year 2024 will mark the second year for the VTuber Awards, following its launch in December 2023. The event aims to celebrate and highlight achievements in the VTuber community. Last year, the event was watched for a total of 278,881 hours and peaked at 68,951 viewers.
This is one of many widely celebrated awards events involving VTubers, alongside The Streamer Awards and The Game Awards, both of which have honored Ironmouse from VShojo.
This year's awards will continue the tradition from last year by gathering and highlighting more VTubers from around the world in a live event. We are very excited to collaborate with as many creators as possible to celebrate this ever-growing community.
Our team will enhance the overall production value with better graphics, motion capture, and presentations! The VTuber Awards will deliver the best for the creators and content that make VTubing so special," said VTuber and host Filian in an official press release.
VTubers are eligible for awards regardless of genre, gender, viewer count, or language. Winners are determined through public voting.
Categories include, but are not limited to: Best Music VTuber, Best Art VTuber, Best FPS VTuber, Best Tech VTuber, Funniest VTuber, Most Chaotic VTuber, Hidden Gem, Rising Star, Best VTuber Event, Best Gamer, and Best VTuber.
The 22 winners will be announced at the awards ceremony taking place on December 14. Produced by WePlay Studios, the awards will be streamed live by Filian on Twitch.
