BTS' V and Bing Crosby are set to launch a duet of 'White Christmas' that connects different eras
BTS' V has collaborated with the Bing Crosby estate to create a fresh version of the timeless holiday favorite 'White Christmas'.
The festive duet featuring the K-Pop artist and the late Crosby, titled 'White Christmas (with V of BTS)', is scheduled to be released on Friday, December 6. This collaboration, produced in partnership with the Bing Crosby Estate, Primary Wave Music, and Geffen Records, is a remix of the 1942 classic and has been characterized as an "era-bridging collaboration."
Crosby is well-known for performing 'White Christmas' in Irving Berlin's musical film Holiday Inn. According to Guinness World Records, his rendition of the song is the best-selling single globally, with estimated sales surpassing 50 million physical copies.
Although the song was released 16 years before the US Billboard Hot 100 chart was established in 1958, 'White Christmas' made its debut on the chart that same year, reaching a peak position of Number Two in 1962.
