New Studio Ghibli Short Film "Majo no Tani no Yoru" Premieres July 8 at Ghibli Park Japan

This short film will be screened exclusively at the Orion Theater, located within the Ghibli’s Grand Warehouse area. The presence of "Majo no Tani no Yoru" marks an important milestone as it is the first original short animation produced specifically for Ghibli Park.

Set against the backdrop of the Valley of Witches—one of the park's most popular zones—this film presents a new story filled with Ghibli's signature magical atmosphere. The warm and imaginative fantasy atmosphere is expected to provide a unique experience for visitors.

Directed by Goro Miyazaki and Akihiko Yamashita

This project is handled by two renowned creative figures, Goro Miyazaki and Akihiko Yamashita. Their collaboration brings a fresh approach to visuals and storytelling, while still maintaining Studio Ghibli's distinctive identity.

Premiere Accompanied by Exclusive Stage Greeting

On the premiere day, July 8, a special event will be held in the form of a stage greeting session with the directors. Visitors will have the opportunity not only to watch the film early but also to hear directly about the story behind the production process.

However, this event is very limited. Only 150 viewers will be selected to attend the exclusive session, making it a rare experience for Ghibli fans.
